Andrew is a Partner in Greene & Greene’s company commercial team. He regularly leads or takes a pivotal role on substantial corporate transactions. Highly regarded by clients for his level of service, intellect and commercial approach.

 

Andrew also advises businesses on a range of commercial contracts and issues, including detailed supply and agency agreements, and on data protection and GDPR compliance.

 

Recent transactions include:

 

Acting for Nexus Underwriting Management Limited on multiple acquisitions of UK, US and Asia based underwriting agencies;

Advising the shareholders of a local construction company operating in the renewables energy sector on the £20million sale of the company to a UK plc.;

Advising a London based institutional investor on a £4million investment in the company operation in the insurance industry;

Acting for a medical technology company on a private investment by a Chinese based pharmaceutical company, and fundraising rounds worth in excess of £1m;

Advising a local start-up technology company on their first fundraising round and on the preparation of a Shareholders’ Agreement;

Reviewing and negotiating a long-term framework agreements between the 'big six' energy suppliers and a local business providing nationwide technical services to the energy suppliers;

Advising on detailed a corporate restructure of a local manufacturing company, requiring consideration of international intellectual property rights, and the establishment of a detailed new security regime for existing lenders;

Advising an international group on Data Protection Act and GDPR compliance in connection with international transfers of data;

Preparation and negotiation of software development contracts and software licences;

Negotiating and advising on the terms of an international distribution agreement for a UK based importer of food and medicinal products.

Preparing and advising on EMI options for multiple local and national businesses;

Advising local inventors and entrepreneurs on methods of protecting and developing their inventions.

 

Andrew is also a director of St Edmundsbury Cathedral Enterprises Limited, which operates the commercial activities of the town’s Cathedral, and a director of the 750 Motor Club, which is one of the UK’s largest motor clubs and organisers of amateur motor sport events.
