Our Lawyers - Angela Leonard

 

Angela, a Chartered Tax Adviser, joined the firm in June 2005 to work in our tax and trusts team. Angela spent the previous 10 years in the tax teams of leading Cambridge accountancy firms.

Angela regularly handles:

Administration of deceased persons estates, from obtaining the grant of probate through to distribution to the beneficiaries;

•

Administration of trusts, including preparation of annual accounts and tax returns;

•

Advising trustees on the inheritance tax reporting requirements on specific events for relevant property trusts; and

•

Assessing the income, capital gains and inheritance tax implications of winding up trusts and dealing with the winding up process.

 

Angela also advises beneficiaries of trusts and estates on their own personal tax position.
