Recent instructions have included:

Representing clients facing prosecution by the Environmental Agency;

•

Representing clients facing Public Inquiries before the Traffic Commissioner and defending road traffic prosecutions in the Magistrates Court;

•

Significant professional negligence claims against other professionals including one against another firm of Solicitors, recovering damages in excess of £400,000;

•

Significant personal injury claims including one that was concluded before the Court of Appeal; and

•

Numerous property litigation matters.

 

Michael is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association (UKELA) and the Property Litigation Association (PLA).

 

Michael is Clerk to the Chapter and Council of St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

 

He is also a Non-Executive Director of St. Edmundsbury Cathedral Enterprises Limited and East Anglian Sports Centre Limited as well as a life member of Bury St. Edmunds Hockey Club.
