Our lawyers - Rob Adam



Rob Adam is a solicitor and partner, working in Greene & Greene’s Dispute Resolution team. Rob qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and has over 23 years’ experience in Dispute Resolution work. Prior to joining Greene & Greene, he was Head of a large regional dispute resolution team in East Anglia.


A highly skilled and experienced litigator Rob has comprehensive experience of dealing with commercial litigation, contentious trusts and probate claims, insolvency litigation, claims against professionals and property litigation.


Rob is ranked as a ‘Leading Individual’ within East Anglia by independent legal guide The Legal 500 and was recently described as a “Strong Litigator who is knowledgeable and efficient, and a good negotiator”. He holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trusts Disputes, which he passed with a Distinction.


Recent instructions include:


Significant claim for underpayment of commission totalling £1m which was dealt with in the Commercial Court and which was successfully settled on extremely favourable terms;

Successfully pursuing a Trustee for self-dealing and undue influence for a claim running to several hundred thousand pounds and recovering the full amount from the Trustee;

Acting on a delivery up order and injunction in the High Court involving claims for breach of fiduciary duty, and damages for breaches of restrictive covenants;

A significant surveyor’s professional negligence claim involving poor drafting of a telecommunications mast successfully settled at mediation;

Acting on injunctions seeking relief for breach of copyright, design right and infringement of patent in the High Court; and

Advising an Insolvency Practitioner in relation to a Section 216 application and successfully pursuing a claim for a significant unpaid Director’s loan.
