Personal injury claims

Accidents do happen in every walk of life and in appropriate circumstances you are entitled to claim compensation from a responsible third party.  The members of Greene & Greene’s Dispute Resolution team who handle personal injury claims are renowned for providing their clients with a personal service aimed not just at maximising the compensation payable in respect of their injuries but also achieving their rehabilitation and the attainment of the best quality of life possible.

Michael Batty is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Michael has:-

Secured damages for a client against Suffolk County Council following an accident in which his hearing was damaged by the detonation of an airbag after the vehicle he was driving hit a pothole in a poorly maintained section of country road.  This claim was concluded before the Court of Appeal and the Judgment has wide ranging implications for local authorities responsible for highways maintenance;

Secured substantial damages and rehabilitation resulting in a return to productive employment for a client who had to have a leg amputated following a serious road traffic accident caused by a drunk driver;

Secured substantial damages for the widow of a former steel erector who developed mesothelioma as a result of exposure to asbestos during the late 1950s; and

Secured an award of damages for a client under the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme. This was nearly three times the award that had been offered to her before she sought legal advice.
